We’re going to tread lightly on day 26 of our 31 Days of Hemp campaign with: hemp lubricant. Hemp seed oil is often used in cosmetic products because it helps to alleviate itching, irritation, and soothes dryness. Rich in essential fatty acids, key amino acids, and a plethora of vitamins, hemp oil offers a naturally robust alternative for skin than petroleum derivatives. But “personal machinery” is not the only frictional system that can use hemp lubrication, as there are other uses for shaving, garden tools, bicycles, food-manufacturing equipment, and as a cutting oil (similar to Rapeseed or Canola Oil — though storing and processing conditions vary among uses).
