The KYHIA is excited to announce we are now taking applications for our 2015 Internship Program! Applicants must be knowledgable of the current hemp movement and enthusiastic about becoming a part of it. Our internship program is built to equip our interns with the tools and skills necessary to excel in the professional world. The KYHIA recognizes the importance of gaining work experience while in college and can provide a number of learning opportunities to students, allowing them utilize and develop their education in a professional setting.
Our interns will receive hands-on learning experience by working closely with executives and professionals within the industrial hemp industry. Daily activities include, but are not limited to; managing social media, working with email databases and donor lists, researching and assembling various educational and promotional pieces, blogging or writing for publications, attending meetings or conference calls and completing other organizational tasks for the KYHIA team. Applicants must be able to devote 8-10 hours a week with the ability to communicate promptly via phone, email or Skype/Facetime.
KYHIA interns will be selected no later than February 1 and all applications are due no later than Monday January 26, 2015. Interns will be expected to work at least until June 1 and will have the option to stay throughout the summer based on performance.
