Our staff is responsible for the coordination of all KYHIA activities and operations. Each individual on our team offers a unique set of skills and talents along with a passion for Kentucky hemp. Using a combination of moderns tools, trends, research and insights, our leadership team focuses on:

• Creating educational and promotional events, campaigns, and materials.
• Building the KYHIA network by maintaining strong member relationships and reaching out to potential members within the hemp industry.
• Keeping an active website and social media voice with current information and involvement opportunities to grow the Kentucky hemp industry.

The KYHIA Board of Directors is growing as we expand our membership network. Our board oversees the leadership team to assure all activities and operations are exceeding in performance. As our Board of Directors continues to grow, we are looking for a diverse set of individuals to help guide our leadership team in their marketing and educational efforts.

Advisory Board

Our advisory board members are hemp experts from around the world, each offering knowledge and credible advice to our officers and board. Each member of our advisory board has worked extensively studying and researching industrial hemp. They offer perspectives from many different parts of the hemp industry, providing direction and research for campaigns and educations efforts.

Interns

We’re excited to be working with college students to help educate others about the benefits and uses of industrial hemp throughout the bluegrass state. The KYHIA feels it’s important to offer this opportunity so that students can learn about, and become involved with, this re-emerging industry. Our interns have a chance to work first-hand in the hemp industry, while working directly with those leading the Kentucky hemp movement.
