Day 20 of our 31 Days of Hemp series proves to be yet another great use for hemp seed oil: oral products. For many of the same reasons it is used in moisturizers and soaps, hemp oil helps to alleviate irritation and inflammation. Usually combined with other natural ingredients like menthol and herbal derivatives, hemp oil’s natural antibacterial and antimicrobial properties help to calm minor infections of the gums and alleviate pain from minor sores or cracks.
