HEMP PRODUCT: Soap
SUB MARKETS: Skin care, Cleaning Products, Hygiene
Day seven of our 31 Days of Hemp campaign will delight the sensitive-skinned folks and vegans alike: hemp soap. Hempseed oil is particularly good for bathing because it is a plant rich in essential fatty acids (EFA), Vitamin E, as well as “supper” polyunsaturated fats like gamma-linolenic acid and stearidonic acid. With a gentle, extra-creamy lather, hemp soaps give you a soothing clean without drying skin and actually help reduce the appearance of aging. Additionally, hemp soaps make excellent household cleaning agents because they contain far fewer synthetic ingredients or damaging chemicals.
Some of the beneficial properties of hempseed oil:
- Anti-inflammatory and Antioxidant
- Non-comodegenic (won’t clog pores)
- Good for sunburns and eczema/dermatitis
- Nourishes skin and promotes healing
- Rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6
- Increases blood circulation
- Non-toxic
